Soccer World Cup Fever Hits Hermanus
In keeping with the spirit of the 2010 Soccer World Cup which is about to kick-off in South Africa in the next few weeks and to show their solidarity with and support for the host team, the personnel
of Marifeed and SPP Canning in Hermanus were all presented with Bafana Bafana shirts. Now we will await their Diski Dance video clip next...

| Marifeed se rolbalspan het verlede week sy naam by die lys van spanne wat die rolbalklub se Besigheidsliga al twee keer gewen het, gevoeg. |

| Dit is die derde span in elf jaar wat dit reggekry het. Aida Onrusrivier het die toernooi in 2000 en 2001 gewen, en Top Carpets in 2004 en 2006. |
|
| Marifeed het die toernooi die eerste keer in 2007 gewen. |
|
| Kurt Mätschke, Awie Smit, Cornia Smit en Densil May het hierdie jaar as wenners uit die stryd getree. |
|
| Die besigheidsliga het die afgelope elf jaar nie net van krag tot krag gegroei nie, maar deelnemers het hul vaardighede met die rolballe bo verwagting verbeter. |
|
| Dit was 'n tawwe wedstryd tussen die twee voorlopers - Marifeed en die span wat deur die Hermanus Times geborg is - op 16 punte elk. |
|
| Met die afrol van die laaste ronde van die wedstryd was dit 'n saak van konsentrasie en dodelike rolhoue. Marifeed het kop gehou en bewys hulle kan mik en die wit balletjie tik as dit moet. |
|
| Die span se wentelling was 20 plus 25. |
|
| Die span Nautilus was tweede met 16 plus 28, Pappin en Pretorius derde met 16 plus 27 en Hermanus Times se span vierde met 16 plus 23. |
|
