The tender from Boesmanland Beleggings (Edms) Bpk was submitted on 25 January 1989. On 16 February 1989, the company was informed that their tender had been successful. The transfer was done by attorneys Fourie, Basson & Veldtman and the property was registered in the name of Boesmanland Minerale (Edms) Bpk. In September 1989, the name was changed to Panorama Building. Building commenced in the same year. The project managers were City Developments (Pty) Ltd under the leadership of David Newham and the architects were Colyn & Meiring.

On 1 September 1990, Boesmanland Beleggings Bpk moved into their new offices and on 1 December, the first tenants, Sanlam, took occupation of the remainder of the offices.
